WHY A SPECIFIC POLICY FOR TOUR OPERATORS?
Under the Package Travel Regulations, Tour Operators are not only responsible for their own activities but those of their suppliers e.g. hotel or provider of activities.
Tour Operators can also be pursued for non-performance e.g. misrepresentation in a brochure or booking errors.
