Many of you will be aware that Cigna Europe Insurance Company are pulling out of travel insurance in the UK. As a consequence of this, we are moving our Travel Plus scheme to new insurers.

From 1st July 2017, the following changes will apply:

• New Insurer – we are delighted to announce that the new underwriter of Travel Plus is Zurich Insurance plc.
• Age limits – Single Trip policies will cover your clients up to age 89 years. For those aged over 89 years, you can use Free Spirit which has no upper age limit for both Single Trip and Annual Multi-trip.
• AMT ‘Premier Plus’ – the limit for Medical & Other Expenses will be £10,000,000. All other cover levels remain the same.
• New documents – there will be a new Sales Leaflet; Insurance Policy; Policy Summary and an Underwriting Guide. PDFs will be available on this site.

Annual Multi-trip renewals

Quotes provided and any sales made between now and 30th June 2017 will be issued on the current 2016/17 scheme underwritten by Cigna Europe Insurance Company. For those quotes provided or sales made on or after 1st July 2017, the new Insurer’s terms will apply.
